Quintinha Sao Joao Hotel & Spa Funchal , Funchal (Madeira)

I had a delightful stay at Hotel Quintinha de São João. The improvements to the bar and reception were noticeable, while the exceptional attention to detail and the warmth of the staff remained unchanged. My room was spacious and quiet, making for a very comfortable experience. The dining options were impressive, especially the lavish breakfasts and enjoyable evening barbecues. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely return in the future.

I just had an incredible two-week stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything from the warm welcome at reception to the immaculate rooms and exquisite dining made for a tranquil retreat. The staff were exceptionally attentive and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which added to the overall experience. However, the location requires a bit of a trek to the city center, and be prepared for 'cardiac hill' on the way back if you choose to walk.
